How many people have you heard recently saying that they want to move into a big city? Jobs are harder to find right now than nearly extinct animals, so it's obvious people want to go where the work is. And the big Topshops, obviously. ;)
I must say though, I do love living in the countryside. I'm not in one of those places where you have to drive half an hour to buy a pint of milk, but I can still walk for five minutes and find trees, fields and tractors, which can be a downside when you're trying to drive into town and you're stuck behind a tractor doing five miles an hour.
Isn't it just amazing when you can see for miles on end? I've never really appreciated it before, but I think when you grow up it kinda dawns on you that most people don't have views like this - I remember at Christmas time everybody was posting pictures of the snow on the top of their high rise flats, whereas I was posting pics of the show on hills. You wouldn't believe it was the same country would you? And the fence was cool ok.... I wanted the fence in the picture!
I also like pretty doors.... and that fence was too pretty not to take a picture of! I'm not weird I promise..
I remember taking this, me + my friend walked down this little lane usually used by horses wearing shoes that weren't exactly made to walk through mud in - even though it was warm and sunny, I think it had rained the day before and our shoes suffered!
*ok yes I know this is a very green post aha*
